Colin Paterson
Tasmanian Commercial Lead
Colin has been at the forefront of renewable wind development in Australia from the early days of the Mandatory Renewable Energy Target and has played a part in its growth over the years. He has been responsible for 600MW of installed wind turbines across Australia as well as portfolio management of some 2000MW.
He has significant experience in large infrastructure projects, from turnkey substation and transmission developments, to mechanised tunnelling and shaft building across the globe spanning almost 40 years. Colin has held senior project and contract management roles in rail infrastructure, and more recently, leadership roles in the new green hydrogen industry for liquid ammonia and synthetic aviation fuels.
Based in Hobart, he has been involved in wind generation projects in Tasmania, as well as green hydrogen production in the north of the state.
Colin holds a Bachelor of Science (Quantity Surveying/Civil Engineering) from the University of Dundee.
